Hello I’m Rachael. I’m a yoga teacher, holistic practitioner and a mother to two daughters.
I have over 20 years experience in health and wellbeing. I started my career in nursing and then became a holistic massage therapist and reflexologist. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in the style of Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow in 2014, whilst in Goa, India. And have since completed further training in pregnancy yoga, yin yoga and yoga philosophy.
Prior to the arrival of my first daughter in 2017 I ran a yoga studio and massage therapy business called Instinctive Health. I have so many happy memories of the Instinctive Health community.
I decided to simplify my working life to fit around the needs of my family and I currently teach vinyasa flow, yin and pregnancy yoga.
My classes are inspired by my love of being outdoors in nature and the wilds. I am currently researching the feminine relationship with nature and how that has changed throughout time.
The outdoors has always been my sanctuary and I love to be cocooned by all her elements. I am forever looking for ways in which to rewild myself and encourage others to do the same.
Because of this, my approach to yoga is no frills. I believe it’s a minimalist practice that should have little to no impact on mother nature.
